NASUWT are one if the largest teacher unions in the United Kingdom. We represent and organise members from all areas of the U.K. Support, guidance and advice is offered to all members from across the educational sector.

The NASUWT in South Tyneside has several officers working in our secondary, primary and special schools; we unite to support members in all aspects of their working lives.

New Service for NASUWT Members

As part of the NASUWT’s commitment to members to deliver the highest quality of service, the NASUWT has now introduced a new Member Support Advice (MSA) Service which will operate from 8.00am to 6.30pm on weekdays.

The MSA service will deal with all requests from members for information, advice and support. Assistance is literally only one phone call away.

The MSA service number is 03330 145550. This number is free from all landlines and mobile phone with inclusive minute call packages.

It may be easier for busy teachers to email their queries and so there is also an email address which is .
